Group Lessons
Our small group Hebrew classes are designed for children ages 7–12 in a warm, engaging, and supportive online environment. Classes are taught in small groups of up to six students, allowing for personal attention, active participation, and meaningful progress.
Families can choose between:
• Once-a-week sessions
• Twice-a-week sessions
Students are placed by level to ensure instruction is appropriate for their skills and learning pace.
Beginner Level
Students are introduced to the Hebrew alphabet and vowels while developing foundational reading skills. Lessons focus on identifying letters and sounds, decoding short syllables, pronunciation, and early reading confidence through interactive activities and repetition.
Intermediate Level
Students review the Hebrew alphabet and strengthen decoding skills while learning to read more complex words and sentences. Lessons focus on reading accuracy, vocabulary development, and building confidence in spoken Hebrew.
Advanced Level
Students work on Hebrew reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary expansion, and conversational skills. Lessons encourage stronger independent reading, understanding of texts, and confident spoken Hebrew in an engaging and supportive setting.
Additional Offerings
IvriTime offers one-on-one Bar and Bat Mitzvah lessons designed to help students prepare with confidence and feel comfortable leading their special day, as well as private Hebrew lessons that provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s level, learning style, and goals. Lessons are designed to support students at all levels — from beginners learning the Hebrew alphabet to advanced students strengthening reading fluency and conversational skills.
Bat/Bar Mitzvah Prep

Students receive individualized guidance in a supportive and encouraging environment, helping them build confidence, strengthen their Hebrew reading skills, and feel fully prepared for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony.
Lessons are personalized to each student’s level and pace, focusing on:
• Torah blessings
• Haftarah blessings
• Reading and practicing the Torah portion
• Hebrew pronunciation and fluency
• Speech preparation and presentation skills
